What happened. Kamil Grabara ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during Saturday afternoon's training session and will need surgery. He becomes the fourth Juventus player this season facing an operation.
- Juventus must choose between the free agent market and promoting from the Next Gen setup.
- Andrea Cambiaso is also out, still recovering from an ankle sprain picked up against Parma on 29 August.
- Guglielmo Vicario returns in goal for Spalletti's expected 3-4-2-1 against Atalanta.
With Grabara sidelined, Juventus must settle their goalkeeping options before Atalanta visit the Allianz Stadium.
