What happened. Djed Spence has finally trained on the pitch almost a month after joining Inter from Tottenham Hotspur. He had been sidelined by a minor physical issue following an extended break after the World Cup.

• Spence's first outdoor session came on Thursday, as confirmed by club photographers.
• Inter are in no hurry to rush him back, with a debut pencilled in for October 10.
• Andy Diouf has impressed in Spence's right wing-back role, starting three of four matches.

Spence could make his Inter debut after the international break, but faces competition from Andy Diouf and Luis Henrique.
