What happened. Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign Argentina goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli from Marseille for £1.7m, with the 34-year-old signing a two-year deal.
- Rulli spent the 2016-17 season at City without making a first-team appearance.
- He scored a penalty in Villarreal's 2021 Europa League final win over Manchester United.
- He has won eight caps for Argentina and was in the 2022 World Cup squad.
Rulli will serve as understudy to Gianluigi Donnarumma, replacing James Trafford who joined Leeds.
