What happened. Levi Colwill and Cole Palmer were left out of Chelsea's squad for the pre-season friendly against Juventus in Hong Kong as a precaution after suffering knocks.

• Colwill missed open training on Tuesday; Palmer trained individually.
• Wesley Fofana and Tosin Adarabioyo started at centre-half in their absence.
• Joao Pedro moved to central attacking midfield, and Robert Sanchez returned in goal.

Both players are expected to be managed carefully during pre-season ahead of the new campaign.
