What happened. Liverpool teenager Rio Ngumoha has not been named in England's matchday squad for Saturday's Nations League opener against Spain. The 18-year-old forward was called up to a full squad for the first time by boss Thomas Tuchel earlier this month.
- Ngumoha was one of five supplementary players who travelled to England's pre-World Cup camp in Florida.
- He made his England debut in a 1-0 friendly win over New Zealand, becoming the fifth youngest Three Lions player.
- He has made three league appearances for Liverpool this season, starting one.
England face Spain at Wembley on Saturday, with Ngumoha set to watch from the sidelines.
