Eriksen and Wolfsburg part ways by mutual consent
The Danish midfielder's contract has been terminated after he collapsed during a Denmark friendly in June.

What happened. Christian Eriksen and VfL Wolfsburg agreed to terminate his contract by mutual consent, the club announced on Wednesday. Eriksen collapsed during a Denmark friendly against Ukraine in June and said in July he would return to his homeland for a rehabilitation programme.
