What happened. Parma defender Dominik Drobnic suffered a fractured scaphoid in his left wrist during the 2-1 Serie A win over Genoa when an opponent accidentally trod on his arm. He has since undergone successful surgery.
- The injury occurred when he fell and an opponent stepped on his arm.
- He continued with his arm strapped up, but tests revealed the fracture.
- Surgery was performed by Professor Norman Della Rosa at Policlinico di Modena.
Drobnic will use the international break to recover and should be available for Parma's trip to Inter on October 10.
