What happened. Patrik Schick has scored on each of the season's opening four matchdays, making him the only Bundesliga player to do so. It continues his run as one of the few constants at a Leverkusen side that has seen heavy turnover in players and coaches.

• He hit 27 goals in all competitions in 2024/25 and 22 in 42 outings last term.
• A 2022/23 injury left him without a goal for 284 days before he returned to form.
• Leverkusen have changed bosses again, with Carles Martínez now in the dugout.

With Leverkusen rebuilding under a new coach, Schick's scoring streak could make 2026/27 his best season yet.
