What happened. Dejan Kulusevski has returned to full training with Tottenham after 19 months out with a right patella injury. He will not face Aston Villa on Saturday, but a first comeback appearance could come in October or November.
- Kulusevski has not played for Spurs since the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
- The injury ruled him out of the summer World Cup with Sweden.
- He returned in August but suffered a small setback before this week's full training return.
“I think it's a great signing. A new signing for us, another new signing.”
— Roberto De Zerbi
The international break gives Kulusevski more time to build fitness before a possible return in the autumn.
