Rice leads five-man England exodus before Tuchel talks

Five England stars have withdrawn from Thomas Tuchel's squad days after he demanded they step up.

What happened. Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford and Tino Livramento have all pulled out of England's squad. Morgan Gibbs-White and James Garner are the only two replacements called up.

• Rice played 90 minutes for Arsenal against Brighton but was declared unavailable for England.
• Chelsea say Palmer has a muscular injury; Rashford had an 'issue' after Man United's draw with Fulham.
• Livramento, out with a calf injury, has not started a game this season.
