What happened. Bryan Cristante has withdrawn from the Italy squad due to an unspecified physical problem following Roma's league match against Inter. Roberto Mancini has called up Como midfielder Samuele Ricci as his replacement.

• Cristante was one of eight players called up by Mancini for his first camp back in charge.
• Ricci, 25, has 11 caps and was handed his Italy debut by Mancini in 2022.
• Italy meet up at Coverciano on Sunday before Nations League games against Belgium, Turkiye and France.
