What happened. Portsmouth head coach John Mousinho says he is "absolutely furious" at the position he was put in over an incident involving Cardiff's Krystian Bielik and a supporter. He says his post-match apology was based only on the account he had been given, and that after seeing the footage his comments no longer stand.
- Bielik was involved in a physical altercation with a fan while retrieving a ball late in the second half.
- Hampshire Police launched an investigation into an incident in which a teenage boy was reportedly the victim of a common assault.
- Mousinho says the referee told him the fan slapped Bielik and a second fan threw a ball at Perry Ng's head.
“I've now seen the footage and my comments post-match were entirely based off what I was told”
— John Mousinho
Mousinho's post-match comments drew a negative response from the Pompey fanbase, and he spoke out again before Saturday's fixture against Charlton.
