What happened. Fiorentina sacked coach Fabio Grosso and are reportedly considering legal action to avoid paying his remaining salary by proving just cause.

• Grosso told director Fabio Paratici he couldn't continue due to transfer disagreements.
• He reportedly threatened not to show up at Viola Park on Monday.
• Despite this, Grosso never offered his resignation.

If Fiorentina prove just cause, they won't owe Grosso for the rest of his contract.
