What happened. Tottenham defender Kota Takai has joined Belgian club Sint-Truiden on a season-long loan, as confirmed by the club's CEO Takayuki Tateishi.

Takai is a 21-year-old Japanese central defender.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.
Sint-Truiden has a history of developing Japanese players.
