What happened. Juventus have agreed to loan Jonathan David to Atletico Madrid with an option to buy for €25m, and simultaneously secured Nick Woltemade on a €5m loan from Newcastle United.

Juve will cover about 50% of David's wages during the loan.
Woltemade's loan is dry, with no option to buy.
This is the second similar deal between the clubs in consecutive seasons.

David could impress in Madrid to earn a permanent transfer, while Juve work on Woltemade's personal terms.
