What happened. Jeff Ekhator felt discomfort in his leg during a training session on Sunday morning and had to be helped off the pitch by club doctors.

• He joined Juventus from Genoa for €16m plus bonuses this summer.
• He was an unused substitute in Juventus' 2-0 win over Parma on Saturday.
• He is expected to undergo further assessment at JMedical.

Juventus may need to sign another centre-forward before the transfer window closes.
