Marmoush set for Spurs as City strike £50m loan-to-buy deal

Manchester City have agreed to send Omar Marmoush to Tottenham in a deal that becomes permanent next summer.

What happened. Manchester City have agreed to loan Omar Marmoush to Tottenham for the season, with an obligation to buy for an initial £50m. City also agreed to sell Nico González to Newcastle for £52m.

• Marmoush will have a medical at Spurs.
• He will sign a four-year contract with a one-year option next summer.
• City are not due a sell-on fee to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The deals are part of City's squad reshuffle, with the Marmoush move set to be confirmed after his medical.
