What happened. Christopher Nkunku has completed the first part of his medical with RB Leipzig as AC Milan sanctioned a €3m loan with a €28m purchase option.

• Milan and Leipzig are splitting Nkunku's salary 50/50.
• Nkunku scored 70 goals in 172 appearances in his first Leipzig spell.
• He was excluded from Milan's squad for the 2026-27 season.

The move is close but not final, with full registration still pending.
