What happened. Aston Villa have signed four Scandinavian players this summer, including three Norway internationals, to strengthen their squad after a disappointing ninth-place WSL finish.
- Villa previously had no Scandinavian players, now have fourth largest contingent in WSL.
- New arrivals help fill gaps left by departures of Hanson, Salmon, and Staniforth.
- Harviken and Vangsgaard join from Juventus.
Villa hope the new signings will help them compete again for 'best of the rest' in the WSL.
