Atalanta lose De Ketelaere and Ahanor to muscle strains

Two key players limp out of training ahead of the final pre-season friendly.

What happened. Atalanta confirmed that Charles De Ketelaere and Honest Ahanor sustained low-grade adductor strains in training and will miss Friday's friendly against Athletic Club.

• Both injuries are low grade, so no significant damage.
• They will be rested and evaluated over the next few days.
• Kamaldeen Sulemana is already out for two months with a knee ligament injury.

Atalanta start their season with a Conference League play-off against Hapoel Tel-Aviv on August 20.
