Vinicius Jr returned to action with a transformed chin after cosmetic surgery.

What happened. Vinicius Jr played his first game for Real Madrid this pre-season, his first since undergoing chin harmonisation surgery, and helped the team win 1-0 against Deportivo La Coruna.

• Vinicius started but was replaced on 71 minutes by Jorge Cestero.
• He signed a new six-year contract at Real Madrid until 2032.
• The surgery was performed by Dr Alessandro Alarcao in Goiania.
